The Apple iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max which are already open for pre-order, will be available in stores starting September 22nd in the coming week.
The titanium-shelled iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED displays, respectively. They’re rated IP68 for water and dust resistance.
Each phone has a USB-C connector instead of a Lightning port for charging. The A17 Pro processor under the hood integrated a new USB controller to enable USB 3 transfer speeds and video output up to 4K at 60 fps HDR.
Another big change arrives in the form of the Mute toggle on the side being swapped for an “Action” button. This customizable key can be set to quickly access a particular function such as the flashlight or the camera, for starters.
The iPhone 15 Pro features a 48MP main camera as well as 12MP 2x telephoto and 12MP 3x telephoto lenses on the back.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max boasts of a 48MP main snapper as well as 12MP 2x telephoto and 12MP 5x telephoto lenses on its rear. You can check out the specs in detail here. Both are set with 12MP ultra wide selfie cameras on the front.
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available in black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium finishes.
The iPhone 15 Pro starts at $999 for its 128GB model. You will also be able to grab it in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage capacities.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max costs upwards of $1,199. It comes in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB memory capacities.
Available in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display sizes, Apple’s iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will offer 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage capacities to pick from. They’re prices go up from $799 and $899, respectively.
Apple has gone with aluminum instead of titanium on these lower-priced iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. Both feature the Dynamic Island, and retain the same old Mute side key – no fancy new Action button for these two.
The smaller iPhone 15 has a 6.1‑inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, while the Plus version goes for a slightly larger 6.7-inch screen. They enjoy the same water and dust resistance rating as the Pro models, but have to make do with the older A16 Bionic chip.
Flip them over, and each model has two snappers – a 48MP main one and a 12MP 2x telephotos lens. A 12MP camera can be found on the front. Follow this link for all the little details.
Lastly, even though the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus have USB-C instead of Lightning connectors now, users will still get only USB 2 transfer speeds.
