The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5, flagship foldable smartphone from Samsung will allegedly sport a 6.2-inch external screen.
This information comes from tipster Ice Universe who claims that the Z Fold 5 will retain the same 6.2-inch screen size on its outer display similar to its previous three generations, says 9To5Google.
The tipster also claimed that the Z Fold 5 will have the same camera module as its predecessor. This might feel a wee bit disappointing to anyone who was looking forward to new look on the foldable phone considering that the series has had the same 6.2-inch outer display design for three whole generations.
Samsung is anticipated to unveil the Z Fold 5 later this year alongside a new Flip device and Galaxy Watch, according to the report.
It was previously thought that the Fold 5 would feature a 108MP primary rear camera and an in-built stylus pen (S Pen) slot. Also, the device might have “droplet” style hinge that will likely lessen its display crease.
There’s very little else to go by in terms of specifications. We guess Samsung feels its comfortable spot in the foldable device category is years away from being threatened.
