Modern interviews can be conducted through video conferencing tools, which significantly modernizes the hiring process while allowing recruiters to interview more candidates quickly. Virtual interviews also improve applicants’ experience. A study found that 49% of candidates agreed that video interviews helped them stand out during the hiring process.

Employers can use video conferencing tools or pre-recorded interviewing tools to conduct video interviews. This allows recruiters to harness the benefits of face-to-face interviews, regardless of the candidates’ location.
