The LG Viper 4G LTE smartphone is soon to get a companion as the Sprint HTC Evo 4G LTE is all set to launch in the US on May 18, 2012. This Android-powered addition to the Evo family comes running the Ice Cream Sandwich OS integrated with the Sense 4 UI.
Fore refresher’s sake, the smartphone takes on a 4.7-inch HD display and features the HD voice attribute. It houses a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video calling and chatting purposes. Powering this device is a dual core Snapdragon S4 processor by Qualcomm that’s backed by a 2,000mAh embedded battery.

The device in question boasts off its imaging capabilities through the HTC ImageSense technology which proffers quick autofocus for continuous image captures. Users can even snap up stills while the 8MP rear-facing camera records videos. Other features include shooting pictures in surroundings with low light conditions. The Beats Audio enhancement caters to needs of audiophiles, while the built-in kickstand provides an incline for convenient screen viewing.
The Sprint HTC Evo 4G LTE release date is expected to fall on May 18, 2012, as previously stated. The handset’s price amounts to $199.99 and it’s now available for pre-order through the carrier’s website.
